From the foothills of Mt Ne to the springs of Koroisau and into the garden of the sleeping giant, a new breath of fresh air ruffles through the Sabeto valley where the people of Betoraurau are gearing up to turn a new chapter of Betoraurau’s history.
As excitement builds up, an outline of the week’s activities has been released today following the organising committee’s meeting on Thursday evening in Koroiaca village. The program aims to bring kinsmen and women in the lead up to the event day in the 4-day preparation period.
The organising committee through the village headmen is calling on all men and women available throughout the week to participate in the preparation works.
It will be a normal school week for Betoraurau students throughout the week including Friday’s event day and the committee has reiterated that the lead-up program will not affect school program and that students are highly encouraged to attend school throughout the week.
